EFFECTIVELY DEALING WITH… ON THE SHOP FLOOR

Theme: the individual (and not - as in the other trainings - dealing with the context’s needs).

Focus on understanding assertive and non-assertive behaviour: characteristics, causes and consequences. Awareness of personal traps and points for attention.
Achieving an assertive attitude and communication skills: for example refusing, placing limits, reacting to ‘weapons in communication’, giving and receiving criticism, dealing with one’s own emotions and those of others, specific assertiveness techniques.

Mode of operation: exercising using prepared cases, reflection assignments (for example about personal thoughts that block assertive behaviour).
